WISHLIST 2: MAKE UP

So here's a few products that I really want to get. Most of them I haven't even tried but reading all the reviews and watching vloggers talking about them and how fabulous they are I have to consider buying them!

NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation - £32

I am a little bit torn both ways with this foundation. I have never tried it before and I don't know if I really want to. Here's the thing, every review I've seen and every vlogger on YouTube recommend it. They look flawless using this foundation but it is a little bit pricey so I am scared of trying it just in case I love it and I can't live without it. A bit extreme, I know, but I know myself and when I like something a lot I can't just be happy with anything less!

Illamasqua Cream Blusher  Promise - £21.50

As I've mentioned before I absolutely love this blusher. It's quite pricey so I can't buy it as often as I'd like. I had the Dixie shade before and I am dying to try this Promise colour, it just looks sooo pretty! <3

ELF Eyebrow Kit - £3.99

In my last empties post I talked about this eyebrow kit and how it's always out of stock. Yes, it still out of stock and that's why it's in my wishlist.

MAC Viva Glam lipstick by Miley Cyrus - £15,50

I love MAC lipsticks and I don't have near enough of them as I'd want so I think on my next trip to town I am gonna get this lipstick, the colour looks so intense and I love the fact that the money goes into helping people with HIV/AIDS all over the world.

SMASHBOX Double Exposure Palette - £37

So a couple of days ago I attended to a Smashbox Blogger event in Cardiff and the lovely ladies in there showed us their newest product: the Double Exposure Palette. It's a 14 shadow palette that can make up to 28 shadows if used with water. There was a little demonstration and I must say they convinced me straight away that I need one of this in my life. The colours are lovely and warm and the final result was amazing!

As you can see most of this products are rather expensive and aren't easy to afford when you're saving for a wedding and constantly skint but hey oh, a girl can dream yeh?
Have you tried any of these? Would you recommend any? x

Garnier Shampoo and Conditioner Review

I absolutely hate my hair. It's so thin and breakable it scares me brushing it! I am not lying when I say I've tried every remedy, every vitamin, every solution and every single thickening shampoo out there and used them for months without seeing any real results. If your hair is anything like mine you'll understand my frustration.

So tired of looking for shampoos specifically design to thicken the hair I decided to look for something else when I came across the Garnier Ultimate Blends Sleek Restorer. I thought maybe it'd help to make my hair stronger rather than thicker and oh my is the best shampoo and conditioner I have had in ages.

THE SLEEK RESTORERA range of hair products for dry & frizzy hair containing a velvety blend with pure Coconut Oil, loved in India, and Cocoa Butter from the far reaches of the Ivory Coast. The Sleek Restorer range tames your dry, frizzy locks, leaving them feeling nourished and looking super-sleek, as if transformed.

I love the smell (makes me want to drink it!) but it doesn't stay in your hair for too long. However, nevermind the smell, I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for about a month now and I feel like my hair has gotten a lot better. I don't want to say it's thicker because it isn't but it feels stronger and smooth all the time and I don't lose as much hair when I brush. It also helps with the frizz on the top of my head.

All in all, this shampoo has worked miracles on my hair and I highly recommend it. It's between £2 - £4 depending on where you get it from. If your hair breaks easily I'd definitely try this shampoo and I can't wait to try the 1 minute treatment and the perfector oil both from the same range.

Have you tried this shampoo? Do you love the smell as much as I do? Has it helped your hair in any way?

My recent Empties

Illamasqua Cream Blusher - £21.50

I don't normally spend this much money on a blusher but I must say that it was a very very good buy. I got it last year when I had my tax rebate as a little gift for myself and it's last me until now, so nearly 12 months! Surely I don't use it every single day but still I have used it quite a lot! It's a cream blusher which means you don't have to use too much product in one go.
If I could afford it more often I'd definitely buy it again.

N7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Lotion - £9.50

So, this is the third bottle I bought of this heavenly lotion. I adore it, it smells so good and I feel so clean after I've used it! My taking off my make up routine consists in make up wipes first and then this N7 lotion. Make up wipes don't completely clean your face so this lotion helps get rid off the rest. I can't get enough of this cream. I have very dry skin around my forehead area and quite oily skin everywhere else and this seems to have help a lot with both. I must admit that I use this daily before going to bed, when I wake up and before applying make up (I use it as a moisturizer)  and my face feels a lot softer and hydrated than before I started using it. A bottle lasts me around 2-3 months so for a tenner I think it's a great buy, specially if you use it as much as I do!

Rimmel Mascara Scandaleyes Retro Glam - £6.99

This is by far one of the best mascaras I've ever tried for under £10. It make my eyes pop so much! It's quite thick so it makes my lashes look a lot fuller and longer. I just love it. I have been using the same one for a couple of years and I don't change it very often so this is for me a 100% buy again.

MaxFactor Colour Correction Stick - £8.99

I love MaxFactor foundation and I only came across this CC stick when there was an offer of 3x2 in Boots a while ago. I decided to purchase this stick because as I've mentioned before I have quite a lot of redness in my skin. This stick is very lightweight and blends easily. It definitely does a good job neutralizing redness and I have got it twice again since the first time.

Elf Studio Eyebrow Kit - £3.99

I am yet to find an eyebrow gel as good as this one for this price. It's good for defining the eyebrow and filling it. The bad thing about this, it's pretty much always out of stock. I always buy two or three kits at the same time because it's very hard to get them!

Rimmel Match Perfection Fix'n'Perfect Primer - £6.99

I really like this primer. Although it's quite heavy before applying it once it's in your face is very light and smooth. It smells really nice too and it makes my skin super soft. I wear it pretty much every day and my only complain is the bottle is quite little and I get through it in less than a month.

I absolutely love every single one of my empties this month. I would buy them again in a heart beat and I can't see many cons in any of them. Have you tried any of these? Would you? Which one's your favorite?

Wedding Series 2: Hair Styles

As you might know, I am getting married in six months in a beautiful watermill in the middle of nowhere. Just so you get an idea, our wedding is very rustic, laid back and simple and so it's my dress. I'm not gonna get into too much detail with my dress as Jac will probably read this but it's very bohemian and so I want the hair to be 'effortless' looking if that makes sense? I also want a couple of flowers (our flowers are little daisies) and I don't want it all down because you wouldn't be able to see the beautiful back of the dress.

I've 'pinned' a few hair styles that I absolutely love and I was hoping you lovely readers could maybe help me decide one? All these are from Pinterest.

WISHLIST 1: STRIPES AND PASTELS

I love everything about it (except the hay fever), the light colours and the bright sun without the excruciating heat of the summer. I'm always very aware of my fat arms too so it's nice wearing a blazer or a light jacket so hide them and not being hot!
Here's my wishlist for this year's spring. As you can see, there's quite a few New Look items here but I couldn't help it, I'm just loving NL at the moment! Loads of pretty stripes and pastels, how can you not love it?!
